It’s really important to us that where possible, we will support British industry. We think that there’s a special something about products that can wear the ‘Made in UK’ badge and that’s why the majority of our manufacturing suppliers are UK-based.  

Like people in ‘real life’, we’re naturally attracted to friends and business partners who share similar values and ethics to our own. We’re not necessarily attracted only to people with Titles (with a capital T) or with letters after their names, but when it comes to our suppliers we do make sure they hold the right accreditations to demonstrate their values. For example:

• Health & Safety Standards OHSAS18001, ISO9001:2000

• British Retailers Consortium Certification

• Ethical standards such as SEDEX Ethical Trade Initiative 

We are a global business and we do work with international suppliers, predominantly for sourcing ingredients and components (after all, you don’t find many coconuts growing in the UK!) However, we are adamant that sustainability and ethical sourcing is always top of our agenda, alongside our constant ambition to create innovative, beautiful products.
