KMI Take to the Water

The KMI Team are embracing themselves for an exciting three day adventure on the Solent as they prepare to take part in their first ever Team Building Day...

July is an exciting month for the staff at KMI as we pack our deck shoes, waterproofs and sunnies for a day out on the sea! For those brave enough a night spent sleeping on the sailing boats the night before will ease the nerves slightly, as KMI staff members get out the office and try their hand at sailing! Fragrances, body butters and hair mousse will be a distant memory as the wind picks up and we race each other in four boats for a challenging and exciting experience!

Port Hamble near Southampton is the perfect place for us to begin our sailing day on Oceanis 37 yachts! In four boats KMI Brands will be split into teams with a member of staff from each team acting as a co-skipper! The competition will be on to be the best team and learn all about taking a boat out to water and keeping it under control! After learning all about life on the water by the experts races will take place in the afternoon, before prize giving commences.

The best team is sure to win so watch this space for an update. We are hoping the day will bring a great sense of achievement, team bonding, motivation and for KMI all to have an exciting, rewarding day out the office.
